LTTE WOMEN FIGHTERS ATTACK ARMY UNIT
	At 6:55 AM yesterday, LTTE's special leopard unit attacked the
	Sinhalese army at Othiyamalai, near Manal Aru. 3 Sri Lankan soldiers
	were killed and for the loss of one LTTE fighter. Meanwhile, on 24
	November, two Sinhalese intelligence officers working for the
	occupying Sri Lankan army were shot and killed by the LTTE near Nallur
	temple (in Jaffna town).
	
SRI LANKAN TROOPS ESCALATE ATROCITIES
	Occupying Sinhalese forces in the Jaffna peninsula have stepped up
	atrocities against the local Tamil civilian population. Last Friday at
	9:30 PM, teacher S. Raveendran was shot and killed by the armed
	forces, who later falsely claimed he was an LTTE fighter. The 40-year
	old civilian's body was dumped at Jaffna's general hospital. The same
	Friday, the Sri Lankan army attacked Tamil civilians during the night
	on Somasuntharam street, injuring several. The assault was in revenge
	for a grenade attack on the armed forces.
	
LATEST LTTE CASUALTIES
	One LTTE fighter was killed in Vinayagapuram (Amparai) in a clash with
	Sinhalese armed forces.
	
TWICE-DISPLACED TAMILS WITHOUT RELIEF FOR 7 MONTHS
	700 Tamil refugees have arrived in Mullaitivu after being displaced
	from Puthuvilankulam, where they were already displaced. The civilians
	were forced to flee for the second time due to the Sri Lankan
	government's ongoing Jaya Sikurui operation. For the last 7 month,
	these refugees have been without proper emergency relief.
