LTTE PRESS RELEASE
NEWS FROM TAMIL EELAM

NON-STOP SHELLING FROM ARMY AT NEDUNKERNI
Sri Lankan armed forces occupying Nedunkerni on Tuesday
launched a massive artillery assault on seven surrounding
        Tamil towns: Oddusuddan, Karipattamurippu, Kanakarayankulam,
        Kollarpuliyankulam, Karapukuthi, Mathiamadu and Puliyankulam.

KFIRS STRIKE CIVILIAN TARGETS FOR THIRD DAY -- MULLAITIVU
Sri Lankan warplanes are routinely roaring over Mullaitivu
airspace and conducting bombing raids on Tamil civilian centres.
For the third successive day Kfir bombers surveyed the region
and then dropped bombs on clearly identified civilian dwellings,
fishing boats and cattle. Afterwards, the planes headed
        back southwards.

ELEPHANT PASS CAMP SHELLS CIVILIAN AREAS
Three Sri Lankan artillery shells fell on Ilankopuram and another
five on Visvamadu's 3rd colony Tuesday morning. The shells were
fired from Sri Lanka's army camp at Elephant Pass. Although no
one was hit, many frightened Tamil people fled due to fear, adding
to the half a million Tamil people in Vanni already displaced
        by Sri Lankan military agression.
